Leisure Projects presents new drawings by Kevin Finlayson at the Holden Gallery of Warren Wilson College. The exhibition gives the Leisure Projects duo another chance to be busy-bodies and interfere in the creative process of friends and loved ones. Kevin Finlayson created new work for the exhibition on the theme of “monsters”.
Kevin Finlayson is a Montreal based artist who recently completed a Masters Degree in Studio Art at Concordia University. Prior to embarking on his artistic career Kevin had a flirtation with musicianship – recording and touring across Canada, the US and Europe. As a visual artist, Kevin has exhibited throughout Canada as well as being the recipient of several noted awards such as the Jack Bush Scholarship, the McConnell Memorial Graduate Fellowship, and a recent project grant through Montreal’s Centre Interuniversitaire des Arts Mediateque. He is also the founder of the one-man design studio ‘Dust and Mold’.
